Strawberry Cream Cheese Muffins

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Grease or line your muffin pan and set aside for later.
  3. Take one tablespoon of flour and add it to the strawverries and set aside.
  4. Put the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt into a medium bowl. Mix until well combined.
  5. Whisk the butter, milk, eggs, and the vanilla extract together in a large bowl.
  6. Add the dry ingredients into the large bowl of wet ingredients and mix well.
  7. Add the strawberries into the bowl. Mix carefully in a folding motion.
  8. Next, for the cream cheese filling, put the cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla in a medium bowl.
  9. Whip the cream cheese mixture until light and fluffy with a hand mixer.
  10. Now, add the muffin batter into the muffin pan and fill 2/3 of each hole.
  11. Using a spoon, create little indents and add the cream cheese filling into it.
  12. Cover the filling with more batter.
  13. Afterwards, start on making the streusel. Add the flour, brown sugar, salt, cinnamon, and butter into a small bowl. Mix untill well combined.
  14. Cover the muffins generously with the streusel.
  15. Put the muffins into the oven and bake for 25 minutes.
