- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 2/3 cup cocoa powder, sifted if lumpy
- 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup avocado oil
- 2 teaspoons water
- 1 teaspoon butter
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla (optional)
Brownies are a fan favorite dessert that anyone can enjoy! Though it may take a while to bake, it is easy and fun to make! The wait will have you craving a bite of this chocolatey heaven!
- Prepare the dry and wet ingredients in separate bowls. Mix sugar, flour, cocoa powder, chocolate chips, and sea salt in one, and eggs, olive oil, and water in another.
- Combine the dry and wet mixtures by pouring the bowl of dry ingredients into the wet one and folding until well mixed.
- Line your baking pan (8"x 8" or 9" circle) with parchment paper and grease with butter.
- Pour your batter into the baking pan, using a spatula to spread it evenly.
- Set your oven to 325 degrees and bake your pan of brownies for 40-45 minutes. Before taking it out, poke it with a toothpick to make sure it is well baked.
- Let the brownies cool completely. Then, cut and enjoy!
